Manor of Pollack

From The Muniment Room, a resource for social history, family history, and local history.

Pollack was a manor and tithing on the Stoneham Estate at South Stoneham. It seems likely that the Manor of Pollack was originally a one quarter part of the Manor of Mainsbridge alias Swaythling. It was purchased by John Willis Fleming in 1821. It was sold to Hugh Kirkpatrick Grierson (d.1945), solicitor, around 1900, becoming the Hampton Park Estate.
