The Catalogue of Dispersed ObjectsThe Catalogue is a register of artefacts - remarkable books, antiquities, pictures and rarities of several kinds - that have been lost or destroyed, or are otherwise now "scarce or never seen by any man now living". The first item listed in the Catalogue is Daedalus and Icarus, an oil painting by Mary Beale (1633-1699). In 2007, The Trust appointed the first Clerk & Custodian of the Catalogue.
